Ah Bollocks, really sorry to read that Jon. That last engine was so strong in power form stock, too!

So got it dyno' d after I fitted my other engine just to make sure all running ok .
Bit dissapointed really as its actually lost power over the rev range apart from at topend where it's gained slightly but that's no good.
Printed both my previous dyno figures and new ones on same graph to show comparison.
Before was completely stock apart from exhaust and air filter and one of robs chips .
Now it's got h22a7 cams , h22a7 inlet , 3inch exhaust system mapped on p72 with hondata s300 .
Something must be robbing the power.
Maybe 3inch exhaust is to big . May try my old one back on and get dyno'd again to see if it makes my difference.
Any one got any other suggestions Image
Cheers Jon

Before I got to the bottom of your post I was going to suggest a 3" system could easily be too big for those mods. I'd go with a 2.75" system at the most.

Yeah going to get my old exhaust system back on and dyno it again see if that changes anything

That's an arse

Is it possibly this engine is more worn in other ways than the other one was? (down on compression???)

Obviously it is possible but I wouldn't have thought so due to it only of covered about half the millege my other engine had done .
I'm wondering weather distributer timing could be set slightly different as my old one we set on the dyno and this one I set with a timing gun

Dyno'd again this morning this time with my old exhaust on. Made 221bhp and can't remember the torque so it's not the exhaust robbing any power as thats even less than before . Pretty fed up with this car now after spending all that money and loosing power.
Have a track day Monday so will see how it goes

Ah well at least you know what it isn't...

Have you done a compression test, to check it is good on all?

So after my last track day at Bedford autodrome last month the car went really well. It made a change not having to keep topping up with oil aswell. It made me realise how thirsty my old engine had got .
Have got snetterton booked up for the 16th so looking forward to that.
