if its raising the bonnet then you've either fitted the bracket between the hinge and bonnet instead of below the hinge which it doesn't look like or there's too much stress on the hinge off the damper and its forcing the bonnet up at the rear or the damper is fouling the rain channel and forcing it up. either way its going to aid cooling

if it aint broke don't fix it https://www.facebook.com/pages/tram-roa ... 8502699270

tried on my carbon bonnet
you really have to push it shut, and just wouldnt work if your in the engine bay regularly
you cant shut it in a fluid motion, kinda akward

Yeah the bonnet shouldn't be raised at all, but from looking at your pictures you have fitted them correctlyddoubledanny wrote:And yeah the bonnet closesand the fit is good
but and there is always a but
Obviously the bracket for the dampers is quite thick so when this is fitted it actually
Makes the bonnet sit higher at the top. You wouldnt notice because it is only raised
About 5mm. And if you like bonnet raisers it would look even better. I'm still undecided about bonnet raisers.

One thing I would advise you of... The ones I have fitted to mine don't force the wings out, but they do make contact with the wings when the bonnet is closed and this causes water to collect between the two, which in time causes corrosion. If I was aware of it I'd just regulary pop the hood and clean/dry them off, but as my car has been sat so long (and probably the reason for it) mine have corroded slightly. Nothing that can't be sorted though
