Yeah I saw this earlier today, I don't think it's the first time he's tried to sell it to be honest. But with an ad like that I'm not surprised. I'm not sure who he's gonna sell it to here in the uk that would actually want to put it in the same car as what it came from. Might be nice in a civic or crx though, massive torque !!

Seriously though, if they've been trying to sell it for a while, I suspect if you spoke to them you could get agreement on the guarantee for alternative fitment?
I had a similar thing when I bought a used engine (for another car) and a new exhaust manifold. Their ads said must be fitted by professional mechanic. I got in touch before I bought and said I wanted to fit it myself but wanted the guarantee to stand, then listed out my engineering qualifications and they replied and said ok, that's fine then, we'll honour it!
