Whats YOUR mileage?

Post by Ruurd » Fri Aug 21, 2015 3:28 pm

My 5th gen h22 will have 150k miles by the end of the month.

Just wondering how many of you have been to the moon and back, or further?

Please state your engine with your mileage!

Road 5th gen H22a8 - 120,000 miles
Track 4th gen H22a - ~60,000 miles on the engine (~13,000 miles since its rebuild) and ~75,000 miles on the body.

My old Prelude (now @Gayno's) had 178k on the original engine before I crashed it. I then swapped it with a lower mileage JDM engine, and the chassis is now on well over 200k. @Gayno will be able to give you a specific figure!

Speaking of which - just found your rebuild video!

First time I'd seen the pics, since they didn't work on PUK when I looked at the thread there a while back. great work

Going on the damage caused... Was it done by going under the back end of a lorry?

Aww I can not view them at work, I will have a look when I get to go home (hopefully) soon.

I had the feeling these engines could last forever if maintained well, still pulls strong and uses no oil, except for a little leak it has developed lately.

Taking her on holiday to the north of Holland at the end of next week, need to get some driving done to get rid of my amateur status!

Nope, back of a Range Rover. We were both braking heavily, so his backside was in the air, my nose was on the floor.
